We believe your life will never make sense until you find, develop, & fulfil your purpose. We know many people are making a difference in their workplaces, & the way we can help you make a difference at Oasis Church is through a volunteer team!
Anyone serving at Oasis is on the volunteer team. At Oasis Church, we believe there is no great divide between the “ministers” and the “congregation.” Everyone has something they can do to impact the lives of others in the Kingdom of God. From our perspective, every member of Oasis is a minister, every person is gifted in some area, & every task is important.

SUNDAY TEAMS & OPPORTUNITIES
Hospitality
This energetic team connects with guests by offering a hot cup of coffee & a warm welcome. They also assist with any catering at Oasis Church events.

Barista & Cafe
This team is skilfully trained to make barista coffee with our coffee machine & provide customer service at the Cafe.

Facilities/Parking/Fire Wardens
This team facilitates the Oasis experience by setting up before service, directing people to parks with a smile, & understanding what to do should there be a fire or emergency.

Service Coordinators
Help the service run efficiently by going through the run sheet with the speaking team, make sure the building is ready & problem solve any challenges during the service!

Sound
Work in a technical, backstage environment by looking after sound on sound desk & lighting on our lighting desk during our services.

Production and Lighting
Bring your tech savvy to this team by delivering the Word & worship through use of our software Pro Presenter.

Broadcasting
We live stream our Sunday services & the broadcasting team uses game controllers to film the service!

Photography
These creative teams take photos on a Sunday, help with any photo or video requirements for various needs including social media, promo videos, etc.

Oasis Babes
(Walkers – 3 years) This team leads children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions. You may like to teach or assist.

Oasis Juniors
(Kindy – year 2) This team leads children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities & personal interactions. You may like to teach or assist.

Oasis Kids
(Year 3 – year 6) This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games & more. You may like to teach or assist.

Vocalists & Musicians
Through vocals & instruments, this dynamic team prepares the way for our guests to encounter the presence of the living God (audition required)

Guest Services
For people who love to help & who love people! This team welcomes people at the door, serves communion, helps people find a seat & tends the connect desk!

Altar Prayer Team
For people who love to pray & exercise the Holy Spirit gifts. We offer prayer at Oasis Church every Sunday & you could participate in seeing God transform lives. This team also prays before Sunday services. Training is essential

**All our teams involving the Next Generation involve extra training that needs to be completed every 3 years, a WWCC, read through some of our key documents including; safe church policy, child protection procedures and creating safe programs, kids ministry code of conduct and privacy policy.
MIDWEEK TEAMS & OPPORTUNITIES
Graphic Design
Create graphics for social media, Sunday services & print marketing for church. (Canva experience preferred)

Prayer Chain Team
Join the team who pray over the prayer requests weekly on the prayer chain.

Oasis Youth
(Year 7 – 12) Join the team that is building the next generation! One big youth bash every Friday night during school term.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Alta 1
Get involved in Alta 1 through assisting in the classroom and participating in gift buying for the students at Christmas.
