PRAYER & FASTING 2025

The Generation Who Seek His Face: Called & Sent

At Oasis Church, we have set aside 14 days each year for intentional prayer and fasting, creating space to seek God’s presence, realign our hearts with His, and deepen our dependence on Him. This is more than a tradition—it is a sacred time where, both individually and as a community, we surrender distractions and fix our eyes on Christ alone.

This year, we step into this time with a renewed focus on the vision spoken over us by Ps. Christie, that we would be a generation who seeks His face above everything else. As Psalm 24 declares, only those with clean hands and pure hearts can ascend the hill of the Lord. This passage is more than a theme—it is a call to be a people who seek Him first, surrender fully, and pursue His presence above all else.

To help us embrace this calling, we will journey through the book of Isaiah, a prophet who encountered God’s holiness in the middle of a national crisis. Before Isaiah could be sent, he first had to see God’s glory, recognize his own need for cleansing, and surrender completely. His journey mirrors our own—we must first seek His presence, allow Him to refine us, and step into the calling He has placed on our lives.

This devotional will guide you through scripture, reflection, and prayer each day, leading you deeper into Isaiah’s story and applying its truths to your own life. As we seek Him personally, corporately, and for our nation, we believe He will bring renewal, restoration, and fresh vision.

Throughout these 14 days, we will gather as a church for corporate prayer and worship, aligning our hearts together as we respond to God’s call.

As we enter this season of prayer and fasting once again, may we fully embrace the vision that has been declared over us—that we would be a generation who seeks His face above all else. Just as Isaiah encountered God’s holiness and was cleansed by the burning coal, may we allow God to purify us, prepare us, and propel us into boldness. This is not just a time of personal renewal but a commissioning—where we rise to stand for Christ alone, to be His witnesses, and to carry His message with confidence into the world. Let this be a time of deep encounter, transformation, and a renewed courage to step forward in faith.
