About Us
Oasis is built on three steps
Find Life
We consider reaching people who don’t know God personally to be one of our greatest responsibilities. Our Sunday services are for people at all stages in their spiritual journey but we’ve taken time and care to make our services friendly for those who do not yet have a genuine relationship with God. Our strategy to help people find life is simple – it’s all of us working together to love and lead those who we know to Christ through the context of relationship.
Grow
We know God wants us to grow in our Christian faith, and we believe this happens best in the context of relationships. God created us to live in community with others, and it is only then that we can experience the full life He intends for us. Our strategy to help you grow are through small groups, life track, water baptism learning to lead and teaching biblical disciplines.
Make a Difference
All of us were created by God to make a difference in the world around us. God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can impact the lives of others. We believe your life will never make sense until you find, develop and fulfil your purpose. Our strategy for you to make a difference is through our volunteer team, and various community projects.
Values
Miracles
Miracles are normal, anyone can pray for them and we all expect them.
Church planting
We are empowering, training and releasing people to plant churches to see the kingdom expand.
Next steps
We use our skills, gifts, abilities and passions to continue to take next steps which empower us and bless others around us.
Authentic
We’d rather someone always be real than always looking right; we are all on a journey toward wholeness.
Fun
Relationships
We prioritise relationship with God and then family; and we celebrate, enjoy and care for people.
Community
Our church community will continue to grow as we take responsibility to reach the community outside the church through real, down to earth, but bold love and service.
Generational
We believe people of all ages have meaning and purpose, and we are richer when we all work together and learn from each other.
Our Story
Oasis Church began with one campus in Atwell on the 24th of May 2015 at Atwell College. Ewen & Christie dreamt of planting a church with three simple steps: find life, grow, and make a difference. Oasis Church is focused on reaching the community by offering contemporary, biblically-driven worship services that are alive with energy and creativity, an engaging children’s church, and relational connect groups.
As the church grew, Jandakot moved into their own building on the 29th of April 2018, and Oasis Church Baldivis was launched at the Baldivis Primary School on the 18th of February 2024. Today, there are two life-giving Oasis churches in Perth, led by passionate and godly location pastors.
In addition to her role at Oasis, Senior Pastor Christie has recently been appointed as the ACCWA State President, furthering her leadership and influence within the broader church community.

Statement of Faith
- We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.
- We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
- We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
- We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
- We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
- We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
- We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
