Blueprint Discipleship School

About Blueprint Discipleship school

Blueprint Discipleship School is aptly called ‘Blueprint’ as architects used a chemical process when drawing & copying plans of their building projects.

When the plans were exposed to light, the colour blue would show up! We know the Master Builder has plans to help us build a life that honours Him & is centred on Him. Whilst we know that discipleship is not a program, but a life-long endeavour, Blueprint has been designed to give you eight months of intentional commitment to kickstart or accelerate your journey of being an apprentice of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said we should go into all the world and make disciples. We can only make disciples to the extent that we ourselves have been discipled. Blueprint takes us back to the foundations to look at the plans God created to take us into a deeper place of discipleship, and in doing so, we begin to be effective in discipling others.

Disciples live a life of encounter, service & submission to God. Disciples live a life that looks like Jesus and they are led by the Holy Spirit. They are ones who intentionally & proactively build their lives upon the foundation of rock.

Blueprint Discipleship School is a high commitment program which includes reading, weekly classes over eight months, a mission trip & a commitment to serve on a team at Oasis Church. Blueprint is for all Oasis people however it is run from Oasis Church Jandakot.

Blueprint Year 1 is a pre-requisite. See below for more information.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Matthew 7:24-27
