Oasis Community Playgroup is a FREE community playgroup designed to build connection and community with local families, while providing fun, shared learning experiences through sensory-based play for children aged 0–5 years.
We are currently finalising venue availability for Term 1 and confirming whether we will be able to continue running playgroup on our usual fortnightly Friday schedule (even weeks, 9:30–11am). We’re hopeful to confirm details soon and would love for you to check back here closer to the start of term for the latest updates.
Once confirmed, this page will be updated with all dates and details for Term 1.
In the meantime, please know that our heart remains the same — to create a welcoming, relaxed space where parents can connect, kids can play, and everyone feels at home.
Welcome to Oasis Jandakot Community Playgroup
To help create a safe, fun and respectful environment for everyone please take a moment to read and follow these simple guidelines-
Parents/Caregivers Supervise their own children- Please stay with and supervise your child/children at all times- especially during play, snack time and outdoor activities.
Shared Fruit & Morning Tea
– Nut Free
– Cut and ready to serve
– Healthy where possible (fruit is ideal!)
Just bring a piece of fruit for shared morning tea and a change of clothes, as it could get messy and we have a free coffee for the parents!
Respectful Play
Let’s help our children learn kindness. If any rough play, biting or hitting occurs, please kindly redirect your child. We’re all learning together!
Sick Kids Stay Home
To protect everyone, please keep your child home if they are unwell (fever, vomiting, contagious illness etc.)
Tidy Together
At the end of playgroup we’d love your help packing up toys- it’s a great way to model teamwork for our kids.
Photos & Social Media
Oasis Photos: By entering this space you acknowledge and consent that photos may be taken by Oasis staff or volunteers for promotional use (eg. social media, flyers, or church website.) If you prefer social your child not to be photographed, please let us know at check in.
Personal Photos: Please be mindful when taking photos your own photos. Avoid including other children unless you have permission from
their parent or caregiver.
Bible-Based Stories & Activities
From time to time, we include simple stories, songs or craft activities that share Christian values from the Bible. These are always
age-appropriate and inclusive.
