Worship to the music with your mouth and body.  Think about something you are thankful for this week or tell Jesus how much you love Him and are thankful for Him in your life.  Think about that during worship and speak it out to God. Have fun and enjoy Jesus together!

3. Lets Talk

Say the Point and Verse out loud together.

We’ve got God’s angels on our side.
Hebrews 1:14 NIRV All angels are spirits who serve. God sends them to serve those who will receive salvation.

1. Who is the Bible verse talking about when it says “those who will receive salvation”? People who trust in and follow Jesus

1. When do we have an army of God’s angels on our side?
When we trust and follow Jesus
2. Why do you think God didn’t tell us everything about
angels in the Bible?
Answers will vary.
3. What are some jobs angels do?
Angels are warriors for
God, they deliver messages from God, they protect people
who follow God, and they worship God all the time.
4. Why do you think we don’t we always know when
angels are helping us?
Answers will vary.
5. When we need help, why should we pray to God
instead of praying to an angel to help us?
Angels obey
God and do what He says. They don’t decide how to
answer our prayers because that job only belongs to God.

1. God’s angels are on your side. When will it help you to
remember that this week?
When you’re afraid, lonely,
worried, etc.
2. Angels help us, but we can help others, too! What can
you do this week to help someone?
Answers will vary.

4. Pray

Ask the children to share things they’d like to pray about. Write your prayer request so you can continue to pray for your family during the week. Pray together, give them a chance to lead the prayer if they want to. Not sure what to pray?

Pray this: God, thank You for
sending Your angels to serve us. In Jesus’ name, amen!
