4. Pray
Dear God, thank you for giving me the Bible. Help me remember to read it when I need help. I love you! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!
5. Play
While your having fun playing, talk to your kids about today:
1. What animal did we meet on our safari today? (Lion)
2. Did the lion say the Bible hurts us or that the Bible HELPS us? (HELPS us)
3. What animal do you think we’ll meet on safari next week?!
ACTIVITIES:

- Colouring sheet – The bible Helps Me!
- The Bible Helps me Safari page! – place some animal stickers on the page and draw a picture of God helping you.
- Bean Bag Tossing – Supplies: picture or toy animal of the following; ant, lion, honey Give one child the beanbag & read one situation from the Help Sheet aloud.
3. Have the child answer the last question from your situation by tossing the
beanbag onto the correct animal. Review by saying:

God loves you and wants to HELP you—that’s why He gave us the Bible!
When you don’t know what to do, just remember what we learn from the Bible at church or ask someone to read the Bible to you.
